Abstract

本発明は、チップ上に保持された1万を超える抗原刺激に対するリンパ球の反応性を、同時に測定し、各細胞についてその状態を個別に把握できる方法およびこの方法に用いる手段を提供することを目的とする。本発明は、基体の一方の主表面に複数のウェルを有し、ウェルは1つの細胞のみが入る大きさであるマイクロウェルアレイ。ウェルの周辺の主表面に、ウェルに格納される細胞が産生する物質と結合性を有する物質の被覆層を有する。上記マイクロウェルアレイのウェルに、被検体細胞を細胞の培養液とともに格納し、被覆層およびウェルを培養液に浸漬して、培養液に含まれる物質のウェルから被覆層への拡散が可能な状態で細胞を培養し、被検体細胞に含まれる目的細胞よって産生される物質に特異的に結合する標識物質を、被覆層に供給し、被覆層の物質に結合した、目的細胞によって産生された物質を、標識物質により検出して、目的細胞を特定する、目的細胞のスクリーニング方法に関する。
