Abstract

微細加工技術を利用して、試料中の大量の細胞を、ダメージを与えることなく高効率で1細胞レベルで分離・捕捉するマイクロ流路デバイス(microfluidicdevice)を提供するものである。試料供給口と試料排出口を連通するマイクロ流路形成用の溝が設けられたプラスチック製平板からなる上部基板と、前記上部基板と協働してマイクロ流路を形成するとともに、マイクロメッシュ用開口窓が設けられたプラスチック製上部平板と、細胞捕捉用の複数の微細貫通孔を有するプラスチック製のマイクロメッシュを保持した保持平板と、吸引用開口窓が設けられたプラスチック製下部平板と、吸引流路形成用の溝が設けられたプラスチック製平板からなる下部基板とを順次備え、前記マイクロメッシュの細胞捕捉用の微細貫通孔の形状が反すり鉢状又は円筒状であり、前記上部平板を前記上部基板に比較して軟質のプラスチックで構成する。
