Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de l'arsenic qui est sous la forme de trioxyde de diarsenic, lequel satisfait aux normes d'élution (conformément à la déclaration ministérielle environnementale n° 13) et par lequel de la scorodite présentant de bonnes performances de filtration et une stabilité élevée peut être formée avec une reproductibilité élevée sans avoir recours à un quelconque procédé difficile. A savoir que l'invention concerne un procédé de traitement du trioxyde de diarsenic comprenant : une étape de percolation consistant à ajouter de l'eau à du trioxyde de diarsenic pour donner une suspension épaisse et ensuite chauffer la suspension épaisse et faire percoler l'arsenic tout en y ajoutant un agent oxydant pour donner de cette manière un liquide (produit percolé) ; une étape de désoxydation consistant à enlever l'agent oxydant restant dans le produit percolé pour donner une préparation liquide ; et une étape de cristallisation consistant à convertir l'arsenic présent dans la préparation liquide en cristaux de scorodite.
