Abstract

For the purpose of improving the adhesion to a PVA (i.e., a base film for a polarizing film) upon the lamination into a polarizing film, an anti-glare film is provided, which has excellent film strength even after an anti-glare layer therein is alkali-saponified, and which is hardly reduced in the film strength after the anti-glare film is subjected to a durability test under exposure to ozone. Further provided are an anti-glare anti-reflection film, a polarizing plate and a display device each utilizing the anti-glare film. Specifically disclosed is an anti-glare film comprising a transparent base film and an anti-glare layer formed on the base film, wherein the anti-glare layer comprises a fluorine-siloxane graft polymer, an active-energy-ray-curable resin, and a fluorine-containing acrylic resin microparticle. Preferably, the fluorine-containing acrylic resin microparticle is a fluorine-containing polymethyl methacrylate microparticle and the active-energy-ray-curable resin is an ultraviolet-ray-curable resin. The anti-glare layer preferably contains a fluorine-acrylic copolymer resin.
