Abstract

　ディスクアレイ装置１００は、動作モードが保守ＲＡＩＤモードである状況下（動作モード管理テーブルの保守ＲＡＩＤモードフラグがオンである状況下）において、ディスク装置の異常を検出した場合に、アレイコントローラ２００は、異常を検出したディスク装置を切り離す代わりに、異常を検出したディスク装置の情報を出力して、ディスクアレイ装置１００の動作を停止させる。また、ディスクアレイ装置１００は、保守作業中にディスク装置に異常が発生した場合に、直ちに異常が発生した旨の情報を出力する。
