Abstract

 内部時計に障害があるコンピュータを的確に検出できるようにする。  時刻情報収集手段(1c)により、クライアント(2),(3),(4)が有するクライアント側内部時計で示されたローカル時刻が取得される。次に、遅延時間算出手段(1d)により、クライアント(2),(3),(4)ごとの送出時刻と到着時刻とから、通信における遅延時間が算出される。そして、障害検出手段(1e)により、遅延時間によってローカル時刻が補正され、クライアント(2),(3),(4)ごとに、サーバ側内部時計(1a)とクライアント側内部時計との誤差が所定の閾値以内か否かが判断される。全てのクライアント(2),(3),(4)の誤差が閾値を超えていた場合、サーバ側内部時計(1a)に障害があると判定される。誤差が閾値を超えているクライアントの数が所定の割合以下の場合、誤差が閾値を超えているクライアントのクライアント側内部時計に障害があると判定される。
