Abstract
The subject of the present invention is a method for producing a carbon insertion compound, characterized in that the carbon insertion compound is obtained by attacking an anode made of pure amorphous carbon, during the electrolysis of a basic compound in solution in water contained in an electrolysis cell, the method according to the invention comprising the execution of the following steps: • the step of filling the electrolysis cell with the basic solution, the temperature of this solution being between 20 and 135°C; • the step of putting two electrodes in place, the anode being connected to the positive pole of an external generator while the cathode is at earth potential; • the step of applying a positive voltage to the terminals of the anode, on the surface of which the carbon insertion compound is formed; • the step of applying predetermined current-voltage parameters by means of the generator; and • the step of checking that these parameters are maintained until complete dissolution of the carbon anode.
