Abstract

We disclose nucleic acid molecules that encode haemocyanin polypeptides that have phenol oxidase activity; polypeptides encoded by said nucleic acids, transgenic cells transfected with said nucleic acids and uses thereof in the manufacture of biofuels and modification of lignocellulose materials.
