Abstract

 本発明は、排ガス中に硫黄を高濃度で含有する場合であっても、排ガス中から硫黄と硼素とを同時に除去することができる工程を具備する、硼素含有ガラス製品の製造方法を提供する。本発明は、ガラス溶解炉から発生した硫黄および硼素を含む排ガスを、冷却用液体と接触させる冷却手段によって冷却し、硫黄および硼素を含む冷却排液ならびに冷却後排ガスを得る冷却工程と、前記冷却後排ガスと接触用液体とを接触手段によって接触させ、前記冷却後排ガス中から硫黄および硼素を除去し、硫黄および硼素を含む接触後排液ならびに清浄ガスを得る除去工程とを具備する、硼素含有ガラス製品の製造方法に関する。
