Abstract

光源の出力を増大させることなく、明るい蛍光画像によって病変部等の観察したい部位を容易に観察する。被写体(A)に含まれる複数の蛍光物質を励起可能な広帯域の励起光を照射する広帯域励起部(7)と、蛍光物質のうちの少なくとも1つの蛍光物質を励起可能な狭帯域の励起光を照射する狭帯域励起部(8)と、広帯域励起部(7)と狭帯域励起部(8)との切り替えを行う励起帯域切替部(9)と、広帯域の励起光および狭帯域の励起光による被写体(A)からの蛍光をいずれも検出可能な検出波長帯域を有する蛍光検出部(15)とを備える蛍光観察装置(1)を提供する。
