Abstract

 高電位回避運転中に適切な発電制御を実施する。燃料電池システムは、反応ガスの供給を受けて発電する燃料電池と、燃料電池の出力電圧をその開放端電圧よりも低い高電位回避電圧を上限として高電位回避制御するコントローラとを備える。コントローラは、負荷要求から算出されるシステム要求パワーPAと、高電位回避電圧から算出されるシステム要求パワーPBとのうち大きい方のシステム要求パワーを燃料電池に対するシステム要求パワーとして演算する。燃料電池に対するシステム要求パワーを演算するために、負荷要求から算出されるシステム要求パワーPAだけでなく、高電位回避電圧から算出されるシステム要求パワーPBを加味しているので、燃料不足に陥ることなく安定した発電を実施できる。また、発電量を適切に制御できるので、バッテリの過充電を防止できる。
