Abstract
本発明の形状記憶合金駆動装置は、サーボ制御により形状記憶合金に電圧又は電流を印加し、形状記憶合金を変位目標値まで変位させる駆動制御手段を備えている。また、駆動制御手段が印加する電圧又は電流の量を示す駆動制御値が所定の変化、例えば駆動制御値が急激に増加する等を検知する接触検知手段を備えている。接触検知手段は所定の変化を検知することにより、レンズ等を搭載した可動部が固定機構に接触したと判定する。また、この判定がなされた際に、駆動制御手段に対して変位目標値を所定の範囲内に制限する駆動制限手段を備えている。これにより、可動部が固定機構に接触した際に流れる電流を制限し、過熱・過剰応力を未然に防止する。
