Abstract

L'invention porte sur un agent d'étanchéité pour cristaux liquides présentant une longue durée de vie et une excellente aptitude au revêtement de substrats, qui présente une réaction accélérée de polymérisation d'une résine, augmentant ainsi l'adhésivité tout en supprimant la contamination des cristaux liquides par la résine. De manière spécifique, l'invention porte sur un agent d'étanchéité pour cristaux liquides, contenant (a) un acide carboxylique polyvalent présentant une structure cyclique isocyanurique représentée par la formule générale (1) ci-dessous, (b) une résine polymérisable composée d'une résine époxy et/ou d'une résine époxy (méth)acrylée, (c) un agent thermodurcissable et (d) une charge inorganique. (Dans la formule (1), R1-R3 représentent indépendamment un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe représenté par la formule suivante (2) : (n représentant un entier allant de 1 à 6). Dans cette liaison, R1-R3 ne sont pas des atomes d'hydrogène en même temps).
