Abstract

 下記(I)式で表される組成を有する複合酸化物からなり、Co、NiおよびMが該複合酸化物中で分散されているリフォーミング用触媒、ならびに該触媒を用いた合成ガスの製法が提供される。  aM・bCo・cNi・dMg・eCa・fO・・・・・・(I)  [式(I)中、a、b、c、d、e、fはモル分率であり、a+b+c+d+e=1、0.0001<a≦0.20、0<b≦0.20、0≦c≦0.20、0.001<(b+c)≦0.20、0.60≦(d+e)≦0.9989、0<d<0.9989、0<e<0.9989、f=元素が酸素と電荷均衡を保つのに必要な数である。また、Mは周期律表第3B族元素、第6A族元素の少なくとも1種類の元素である。]  前記リフォーミング用触媒は、炭化水素のリフォーミングにおいて、触媒活性を長期にわたって高位に維持することが可能である。
