- the conventional dental implant except one body type implant comprises an implant body (fixture ) made of titanium which is embedded in jawbone, a gingiva-penetrating member which is engaged with an upper end portion of the implant body, a post core made of either titanium or gold which is screwed through the gingiva-penetrating member into a post core fixing hole provided in the implant body, an artificial tooth fixed on the post core using a securing pin or cement.
- Usual implant abutment holder can only be used for certain abutments which can not be modified in its shape but either custom made holder should be fabricated or abutment should be handled manually in case operator must modify the shape of abutments.
- the dental implant abutment holder described in this invention simplifies operation and help dentist to save time. Also it prevents possible problem of accidental swallowing which can decrease confidence of patient.
- Fig. 1 to 8 illustrate sequential order of abutment holder assembles onto fixture embedded in the jaw bone and fig 9 is an example of abutment holder which can be used for a ready made abutment that should not be changed in its shape.

Instead annular club formed at the bottom of abutment holder, divided into 2 to 6 parts depending on the diameter, snap fits into abutment screw hole which does not change its shape all the time so that it can hold and deliver even modified abutment onto fixtures embedded in patient's jaw.

Abstract
Cette invention concerne une aide fonctionnelle à la pose d'un point d'appui devant être assemblé avec la fixation d'implant dans la mâchoire d'un patient. Ce support de point d'appui comprend une tige annulaire présentant une incision cruciforme sur le fond et s'adaptant par emboîtement-pression dans le trou de vis du point d'appui. De cette manière, même si la forme du point d'appui doit être changée, l'opérateur peut la poser sans chute accidentelle.
