Abstract

　本発明は、炭酸ガスを冷媒とするコンプレッサのように高圧で圧力変動の大きい環境においても、ゴム材が発泡割れすることの無いガスケットを提供する。本発明のガスケットは、筒状の金属環とその内外周面及び機内側端部を連続的に被覆するゴム層とを有するガスケットにおいて、金属環の機内側端部の角部をＲ＝０．１ｍｍ以上のＲ面取り、あるいは、面取り幅が０．１ｍｍ以上で端面幅が０．０６ｍｍ以上となる形状のＣ面取りをする。金属環の端部の角部を無くすことになり、エッジ部での発泡割れを防止できる。また金属環とゴム材との接合力をガスケット全域で略等しくすることができ、金属環とゴム材との境界面全体においても発泡割れを防止することができる。
