Abstract

 本発明はHDAC阻害作用を有する化合物の新たな薬理作用を見出すことを目的とする。本発明のヒストン脱アセチル化酵素阻害作用を有する化合物は、線維柱帯細胞に対して優れた細胞形態変化作用及び/又は眼圧下降作用を有するので、房水循環及び/又は眼圧が関与するとされる疾患の予防及び/又は治療剤、特に緑内障、高眼圧症の予防及び/又は治療剤として有用である。
