- the binding device ties another set of coils previously composed on the same working platform or on another one, or the supporting platform makes it possible to move one or more sets of coils on the platform itself, so that the composition of the set, its binding and the unloading of the set from the supporting platform are sequentially performed in different working spots like in a chain process.
- the supporting unit is composed of at least a couple of supports, placed on a platform parallel to the axis of a coil and at such a distance that the coil is prevented from rolling.
- the aforesaid couple of supports is also composed of two parallel rollers (4) and these parallel rollers rotate and at the same time make a group of two or more adjoining and coaxial coils leaning against them rotate on itself.
- one or both of the aforesaid parallel rollers are connected to an engine-driven system which sets one roller in motion, the other one being idle, or makes both the rollers rotate synchronously.
