Abstract

L'invention porte sur des particules d'oxyde composite noir qui comprennent des oxydes de cobalt et de cuivre, présentent un diamètre moyen de particule primaire allant de 0,03 à 0,5 µm, possèdent une valeur D50 allant de 0,05 à 1,0 μm telle que mesurée par le procédé de diffraction-diffusion laser en termes du nombre de particules, et présente une forme granulaire. Les particules comprennent, de préférence, de 40 à 65 % en masse de cobalt et de 5 à 30 % en masse de cuivre. Les particules ont, de préférence, une masse volumique tassée allant de 0,8 à 2,0 g/cm3, une masse volumique allant de 6,0 à 7,0 g/cm3 et une magnétisation de saturation de 5 Am2/kg ou moins.
