Abstract

【課題】汎用性に優れ、薄型で、頭部支持状態から傾倒して格納状態とするときの操作負荷を軽減して軽快に行うことが可能なヘッドレスト及びヘッドレストを備えた車両用シートを提供する。 【解決手段】背凭シートＳ２の上部に装着されるピラー１と、ピラー１と回動可能に係合されるメインフレーム２１とサブフレーム２２を組み合わせて形成されたヘッドレストフレーム２と、ヘッドレストフレーム２を一方側へ付勢するフレーム付勢手段３と、ヘッドレストフレーム２とピラー１との回動を阻止可能なロック手段と、ロック手段を操作するラチェットレバー４４と、を備え、ラチェットレバー４４の少なくとも一部がメインフレーム２１とサブフレーム２２との間に位置し、メインフレーム２１とサブフレーム２２はヘミングカシメ部２１ｂによって連結されている。
