Definitions
- the invention now advocated consists of a disposable flip flop, formed by a thin die cut sheet that stands out for having a main body that adapts to the shape of the foot from which a pair of lateral and opposite wings emerge.
- the two opposite wings have symmetrical openings.
- one of the wings has several grooves at different heights and the other shows a serrated tongue as an extension of said wing.
- the closure of the flip flop is achieved by first passing the tongue through the outer groove, and then inserting it into the inner groove so that the end of the tongue is visible to the user as it is on the outside of the instep.
- Disposable flip flops are widely used in different types of facilities, be they hotels, spas, spas, gyms, swimming pools or beauty centers.
- One of the wings has an open groove at the outer end and the other wing extends in the form of a button attached by a neck to the rest.
- the proposed invention surpasses this since the new flip flop incorporates a more efficient and robust closing means by establishing a better fit of the flip flop at the foot of the user.
- the closure allows a regulation of the width of the instep of the flip flop, being able to adapt it to the foot.
- the invention object of the present specification refers to a disposable flip flop, formed by a thin die-cut sheet with a main body that adapts to the shape of the foot from which a pair of side and opposite die-cut wings intended to join give rise giving rise to the final configuration
- Said flip flop in open arrangement, has the two opposite wings that can be symmetrical and emerge from the main body of the blade that determines the support site of the sole of the foot. Both wings are stamped. In one way of carrying out the invention, one or the other or both have symmetrical openings that are located in the innermost part of the wings and that facilitate the closing of the flip flop by reducing its resistance to bending.
- the invention characterizes the presence of a robust closure means that makes the flip flop in a closed arrangement in addition to presenting said closure a means for regulating the width of the instep, being able to adapt to the foot. This regulation is achieved due to the presence of a toothed of the tongue that opposes resistance to the exit.
- This closure means comprises at least two grooves, one outer and one inner in one of the wings and an extension or tongue in the opposite wing.
- the outer and inner grooves are arranged parallel to one another.
- the inner groove has a cross-section that reaches the symmetrical opening and facilitates the entry of the tongue into the inner groove once it has already been inserted into the outer groove to reach the final configuration of the flip flop.
- the other wing can have a tongue with a toothed as an extension of said wing in such a way that when matching grooves and tongue, introducing the tongue through the grooves, firstly by the outer groove, and then inserting it into the inner groove of such so that the end of the tongue is visible to the user since it is on the outside of the instep, the closed arrangement is achieved. Additionally, the teeth reinforce the closing mode, preventing the flip flop from opening because, due to its special shape, it opposes resistance to the movement of the tongue of the grooves.
- teeth of the tongue provide different means of regulating the width of the instep of the flip flop.
- the tongue by way of example, can have different shapes, among which the anchor and semicircular shape stand out.
- the flip flop acquires the desired shape for use, with a robust closure.
- the part of the main body that will be in contact with the ground may have a non-slip sheet that will prevent the user from slipping.
- the main body that is in contact with the foot can also incorporate a non-slip sheet.
- said disposable flip flop is constituted by a die-cut sheet with a main body corresponding to the sole of the foot from which a pair of side and opposite die-cut wings destined to be joined emerge from such so that:
- the second wing is grooved where the shaving of the second wing is at least double counting on an outer and inner groove such that a closing means is available in which the tongue is intended to be joined by means of double insertion, a first insert in the outer groove and a second insert through the inner groove, the end of the tongue finally remaining on the outside of the instep.
- Figure 1 represents the flip flop in open arrangement.
- Figure 2 represents the flip flop in closed arrangement.
- the present invention consists of a disposable flip flop that has a robust closure.
- This preferred embodiment consists of a disposable flip flop, formed by an essentially ellipsoidal die-cut thin sheet (1) with a main body (2) that adapts to the shape of the foot from which a pair of lateral die-cut wings (3) emerge. and opposites destined to join giving rise to the final configuration.
- Said flip flop in open arrangement, has the two opposite and approximately symmetrical wings (3) emerging from the main body (2) that determines the support site of the sole of the foot. Both wings (3) are punched out and have symmetrical crescent-shaped openings (4) that are located in the innermost part of the wings (3) and that facilitate the closing of the flip flop.
- One of the wings (3) has two grooves (5.6) at different heights or positions, one outside (5) and one inside (6) arranged parallel to each other.
- the other wing (3) has an tongue (7) in the form of an anchor with a triangular teeth (7.1) as an extension of said wing (3) in such a way that when matching grooves (5,6) and tongue (7) , by inserting the tongue (7) through the grooves (5,6), firstly through the outer groove (5), and then inserting it into the inner groove (6), such that the end of the tongue (7) is in view of the user since it is on the outside of the instep and the closed arrangement is achieved by definitely configuring the flip flop with a robust closure.
- the grooving is double counting with an outer groove (5) and an inner groove (6) in such a way that there is a closing means in which the tongue
- (7) is intended to be joined by double insertion, a first insert in the outer groove (5) and a second insert through the inner groove (6).
- the inner groove (6) has a transverse cut (6.1) that reaches the opening (4) symmetrical and facilitates the entry of the tongue (7) into the inner groove (6) after being first introduced into the groove (5) ) outside to reach the final configuration of the flip flop.
- the teeth (7.1) of the tongue (7) provide different ways of adjusting the width of the instep.
- the tongue (7) is perfectly adjusted in the grooves (5,6), determining a stable closure.
- the teeth (7.1) prevents the tongue (7) from leaving the grooves (5,6), as it opposes resistance to exit.
- the inner groove (6) is smaller than the outer groove (5) and has a transverse cut (6.1) that reaches the opening (4), so that the anchor-shaped tongue (7) can be introduced by said cut (6.1) after having first passed through the outer groove (5) and thus being adjusted in the inner groove (6).
- the main body part (2) that will be in contact with the ground has a non-slip sheet that will prevent the user from slipping.
- the main body (2) that is in contact with the foot can also incorporate a non-slip sheet.
