Abstract

L'invention concerne un peptide présentant une sécurité élevée et une activité antibactérienne excellente, ou un sel de ce peptide. Plus précisément, l'invention concerne un peptide choisi parmi les peptides suivants (1) et (2) ou un sel dudit peptide: (1) un peptide comprenant une séquence d'acides aminés représentée par la formule générale (I) (Pro Hyp Gly)n-[(Lys x Gly)m-(Pro Hyp Gly)l-(Lys X Gly)p]α- (Pro Hyp Gly)r (I) [dans laquelle n représente un entier compris entre 1 et 6; m un entier compris entre 1 et 4; l un entier compris entre 0 et 7; p un entier compris entre 1 et 4; r un entier compris entre 1 et 6; α un entier compris entre 1 et 6; et X un résidu d'acides aminés choisi parmi Ile, Leu et Hyp, pour autant que les pièces (m+p) de X puissent être identiques ou différentes les unes des autres, n+m+l+p+r = 4 à 15, m+p≥2 lorsque l=0, et m=1, l=0 et p=1 lorsque α≥2.]; (2) un peptide comprenant une séquence d'acides aminés ayant la substitution, la suppression ou l'addition de 1 à 3 résidus d'acides aminés autres que Lys, Gly et X dans la séquence d'acides aminés représentée par la formule (I) et possédant une activité antibactérienne.
