Abstract

A container (102) for cigarettes comprising one or more cigarette extinguishing portions (202) wherein the container is operable to be moved between an open, cigarette receiving configuration and a closed, cigarette storing configuration and wherein, when m the closed, cigarette storing configuration, the one or more cigarette extinguishing portions are generally-air tight.
