Abstract

スイッチ操作部材を操作位置に固定して所定の加工作業を行う打撃工具において、モータ通電駆動用電気スイッチの配線取り回しを容易にする。本発明の打撃工具は、モータ（１１１）と、モータ通電駆動用の単一の電気スイッチ（１５１）と、第１のスイッチ操作部材（１５３）と、第２のスイッチ操作部材（１５５）と、工具ビットの駆動モードの切替えを行なうモード切替部材（１６５）を有する。モード切替部材（１６５）が第１の駆動モードに切り替えられた状態では、第１のスイッチ操作部材（１５３）が固定され、 第２のスイッチ操作部材（１５５）による電気スイッチ（１５１）のオン・オフ動作が許容される。モード切替部材（１６５）が第２の駆動モードに切り替えられた状態では、第２のスイッチ操作部材（１５５）が固定され、第１のスイッチ操作部材（１５３）による電気スイッチ（１５１）のオン・オフ動作が許容される。
