Abstract

　サーマルプリントヘッドＡは、基板１と、基板１によって支持された発熱抵抗体３と、発熱抵抗体３を覆う保護層４と、を備える。保護層４は、発熱抵抗体３に接する第１内層４１、第1内層４１上に形成された第２内層４２、および外層４３を含む。第２内層４２の一部は、表面粗さがＲａ０．１～０．３である粗面部４２ａとされており、粗面部４２ａは、発熱抵抗体３に対応した位置に設けられている。外層４３は、窒化金属または窒化金属含有化合物からなり、厚さが０．１～０．５μｍとされている。
