Abstract

　サーマルプリントヘッド（Ａ）は、絶縁性の基板（１）と、基板（１）上に設けられた発熱抵抗体（２）と、発熱抵抗体（２）を覆う保護膜（４）を備える。保護膜（４）は、第１層（４１）、第２層（４２）および第３層（４３）からなる。第１層（４１）は、発熱抵抗体（２）に接している。第２層（４２）は、第１層（４１）を覆っている。第２層（４２）は、第１層（４１）よりも硬く、かつ、第１層（４１）よりも大きな熱伝導率を有している。第３層（４３）は、第２層（４２）を覆う最外層である。第３層（４３）は、第２層（４２）よりも硬く、かつ、第２層（４２）よりも厚みが小さい。
