Abstract

L'invention concerne un nouveau dispositif d'affichage électrochimique qui, par une structure d'élément pratique, peut effectuer une présentation en blanc lumineux, une présentation en noir et blanc de contraste élevé et une présentation en couleurs. Le dispositif d'affichage est caractérisé par le fait qu'un électrolyte est contenu entre des contre-électrodes, au moins l'une des contre-électrodes dotée d'un film polymère contenant un complexe métallique ayant un ligand de composé organique, et par le fait que le film polymère contient au moins deux types de métaux et des composés capables d'une coordination avec les au moins deux types de métaux, les composés étant liés entre eux par l'intermédiaire de n'importe lequel des métaux, et par le fait que le film polymère présente au moins deux états colorés en fonction de la réaction d'oxydation ou de réduction des métaux, et par le fait que le rapport de revêtement avec le film polymère, sur la base de l'aire de surface de l'électrode dotée du film polymère, se situe dans la plage de 20 à 80 %, et par le fait que l'électrolyte contient de l'argent ou un composé contenant de l'argent dans sa structure chimique.
