Abstract

Selon l'invention, une bande mélangée est préparée à partir d'une fibre pouvant être liée par chaleur humide et une fibre absorbant l'eau de façon importante utilisées dans un rapport (rapport massique) de fibre pouvant être liée par chaleur humide/fibre absorbant l'eau de façon importante de 20/80 à 80/20. La bande mélangée, tout en étant transportée dans une direction spécifiée, est soumise à un traitement thermique par une vapeur à haute température. Ainsi, on obtient un tissu non-tissé dans lequel ses fibres constitutives sont orientées et dans lequel le rapport de liaison de fibre dans sa section transversale est approximativement uniforme le long de la direction de l'épaisseur de celui-ci et se trouve dans la plage de 5 à 50 %. Le tissu non-tissé, tout en étant, dans son état sec, de densité faible et de poids léger, présente, lors de l'absorption d'eau, une absorbance d'eau élevée et il a la propriété de ne présenter aucun gonflement dans au moins une direction, tout en présentant un gonflement élevé dans au moins une direction.
