　レーベル面側からの視認に対し十分なコントラストを得られる画像を、記録面側から描画可能な光ディスクおよび光ディスク装置を提供する。 　レーベル面Ｂ側に形成され、記録面Ａ側から入射したレーザ光２８により感熱変化して画像が形成される光描画層１７と、光描画層１７のレーベル面Ｂ側に形成され、光描画層１７を保護すると共に画像をレーベル面Ｂ側から可視可能な保護層１８と、光描画層１７の記録面Ａ側に形成されレーザ光２８を反射する反射層１６と、反射層１６、保護層１８および光描画層１７を支持する基板１５と、を備えたものである。
