Abstract

This invention relates to a fine particulate material for use as a fuel source or reducing agent derived from waste plastic material comprising: a cellulose component; and a plastic component. The dry weight ratio of the cellulose component to the plastic component is greater than 2:3 and the cellulose/plastic mixture has a particle size distribution such that at least 95 wt% of the particles in the mixture are less than 2.8 mm, based upon the total dry weight of the cellulose/plastic mixture, and the mode of the particle size distribution is between 0.3 and 2.5 mm.
