Abstract

Cette invention propose un appareil pour produire un métal par électrolyse des sels fondus et un procédé pour produire un métal à l'aide de l'appareil. L'invention concerne en particulier un appareil, pour produire un métal, qui peut produire de façon efficace et récupérer un métal soluble dans un bain électrolytique, et un procédé pour produire le métal. Le procédé de production comporte le remplissage d'un réservoir électrolytique par un bain électrolytique, la disposition d'une anode et d'une cathode dans un état immergé et, dans cet état, la conduite d'une électrolyse des sels fondus. Le procédé de production est caractérisé par le fait que le métal est précipité dans un état solide sur la cathode construite de telle sorte qu'un agent de refroidissement peut s'écouler à l'intérieur de celle-ci et par l'arrêt de l'alimentation en énergie de la cathode pour, tout en fusionnant le métal solide dans le bain électrolytique, dégager immédiatement le métal fondu vers l'extérieur du réservoir électrolytique.
