Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer en smeltesalt elektrolysecelle for fjerning av kalsiumklorid inneholdende kalsium som blir brukt for reduksjon av et oksid eller klorid av titan, spesielt en smeltesalt elektrolysecelle som kan gjenvinne kalsiumklorid ved smeltesaltelektrolyse ved høy effektivitet. Smeltesalt elektrolysecellen innbefatter en beholder, som inneholder et smeltet saltbad og har et lokk på sin øvre del, en anode og en katode som er forlenget gjennom lokket fra ovenfra beholderen og er nedsenket og beliggende i smeltesaltbadet, en trykkreduserende anordning forbundet med katoden, en gasstilførselsdyse for tilførsel av gass fra utsiden av beholderen inn i beholderen, en gassutløpsdyse for utslipp av gass fra innsiden av beholderen til utsiden av beholderen, og en smeltesalt tilførselsdyse for mating av et smeltet salt fra utsiden av beholderen inn i beholderen. Katoden er hul. Et finnelegeme er forbundet med den ytre overflaten av katoden. Rett over det sammenføyde partiet mellom katoden og finnelegemet, er det tilveiebrakt et gjennomgående hull i katoden.
