Detailed description of some embodiments
Said frame is in a first (closed) position, in which a first support 1 and a first photograph 3 are visible, said support 1 forming a box with space to locate a mirror 5, a second support 2 and a second photograph 4.
En Ia Fig. 2 se muestra el marco en Ia misma situación de plegado que enIn Fig. 2 the frame is shown in the same folding situation as in
In it you can see the first support 1, the mirror 5, the second support 2 and the second photograph 4, as well as hinge devices that allow the rotation of the second support 2 and the mirror 5.
Both the second support 2 and the second photograph 4 and the mirror 5 have turned a certain angle with respect to a common axis 6, 7, and are stopped by the presence of a first stop
9.9.
In Fig. 4 the frame positioned in said second position can be observed, where the mirror 5 is held from frictional resistive forces in a position defined by the first stop 9, while the second support 3 has rotated with respect to the common axis 6, 7 in the opposite direction to the previous rotation, until they are stopped by a second stop 9 '.
5 to 9 show a second embodiment of a mechanism that includes a sliding device, where each of the elements have associated pushing means, for example, a compressed spring or magnets positioned to repel, in order to transmit an impulse to both the second support 2 and the mirror 5. In Figs. 6 and 7 a frame is shown in a first position (folded), where the first support 1 contains inside it the mirror 5 and the second support 2. In Fig. 8 the frame in the process of unfolding can be observed to reach A second position. The second support 2 slides along guides 11 located inside the first support 1 until the window 10 of the frame is cleared. Fig. 9 shows how once the second support 2 has completely slipped and has left the guide, a spring 14 drives the second support 2 by rotating it by a first axis 12 to a position delimited by a first stop 17 associated with the first support 1. In this way, the window 10 is cleared with this, which allows the mirror 5 to emerge through the window 10. A spring 15 rotates the mirror 5 around a second axis 13 until the second stop 18 associated with the first support 1.
6 a 9. Figs. 10 and 11 show a variation of the embodiment shown in Figs. 6 to 9. Said variation consists in that only a single spring 20 and an optional part 21 are necessary to drive the second support 2 and the mirror 6 * and rotate them around the corresponding axes 12, '13.
Figs. 12 to 15 show a third embodiment of a photo frame with stereoscopic display device. In Fig. 12 a frame is shown in a first position (folded), where on both sides of the frame a first and second supports 1, 2 can be observed respectively and a first and second photograph 3, 4 respectively. Said first and second supports 1, 2 and a mirror 5 are supported by a cylindrical support 22 with a circular base 23. In Fig. 13 the frame is observed in a second position, where the mirror 5 has on one side the first support 1 with the first photograph 3 and on the other side, the second support 2 with the second photograph 4, forming the same angle on both sides. This exemplary embodiment has the characteristic of the presence of a gear train 25 that allows relative movement between the first support 1, the second support 2 and the mirror 5. The first support 1 and the second support 2 have associated gears that allow a rotation with respect to the cylindrical support 22 to be positioned in a second position (Fig. 13). The mirror 5 has a linear displacement by means of a rack device 24 which allows it to be positioned in said second position. Fig. 14 shows the set of gears and gears that form the gear train 25 and that are in the cylindrical support 22 and in the circular base 23, to allow relative movement between the different parts of the frame. In addition, in Fig. 15 the movement of each of said sprockets associated with the first and second support 1, 2 and the rack 24 associated with the mirror 5, to reach the second position of the frame.
Referring to Figs. 16 to 19, they show a fourth example of realization of a frame for photographs with stereoscopic display device. In Fig. 16 a frame is shown in a first position (folded). The first and second photograph 3, 4, are arranged on the first and second support 1, 2 respectively, so that they are exposed and visible on the external part of the sides of the frame. In an inner area defined by the first and second support 1, 2, there are arms 26a, 26b articulated by one end to the first support 1 and second support 2, respectively, and at the other end, the arms 26a, 26b are articulated in a projection 27 located at one end or terminal part of the mirror 5 (best shown in Fig. 17). In addition, the first and second support 1, 2 are also linked together, articulated by means of an articulation arrangement 28 which allows to provide a rotational movement of said first support 1 and second support 2. Said articulation arrangement 28 comprises two rollers 28a, 28b among which the mirror 5 is trapped, which, when turned, is displaced emerging to the outside of the assembly. Figs. 17 and 18 show two stages in the process of opening the frame to reach a second position. As the articulation arrangement 28 moves along the length of the mirror 5, the angle formed between the arms 26a, 26b with the mirror 5 increases, until it reaches the position shown in Fig. 18, where the first support 1 and the second support 2 are arranged perpendicularly to the mirror 5. In Fig. 19 the frame already arranged in the second position is observed, where the articulation arrangement 28 is located next to the other end of the mirror 5 in which it was initially in Fig. 16 and in this way it cannot continue advancing through the mirror 5 since it has reached the projection 27 which also acts as a stop.
A variation of said embodiment can be seen in Fig. 20. This is that said adjacent rollers 28a, 28b have a length greater than that of the supports 1, 2 so that each of the rollers adjacent 28a, 28b define two protruding parts 29a, 29b protruding from said supports 1, 2. Said protruding parts 29a, 29b of each roller 28a, 28b are serrated and engaged with each other, so that their movement allows the frames to be arranged towards a second opening position. The mirror 5 is between the two supports 1, 2 and slides between them. In addition, at the other end of both supports 1, 2 there is also a pair of rollers, 30a, 30b, which, unlike rollers 28a, 28b, do not engage, and to establish the second position of the frame, they must move away as the angle between the supports 1.2 increases. Motion transmitting devices, such as tapes 32, are arranged along the supports 1, 2 and are supported by said rollers 28a, 28b, 30a, 30b.
One skilled in the art will be able to introduce variations and modifications in the examples of embodiment shown and described without departing from the scope of the present invention as defined in the appended claims.
