Abstract

The invention relates to a module for processing a solid and powder and/or liquid biomass using a processing gas flow on a substantially horizontal fixed bed, said module having an inlet for the biomass to be processed on said fixed bed and an opening for discharging the biomass after processing, characterised in that said processing module includes a plurality of so-called processing zones, and further includes: at least one means for injecting a processing gas flow into said module, said injection means being common to said processing zones; and, for each of said processing zones, means for extracting the charged processing gas flow obtained after processing with a substantially constant charge extraction loss over all said processing zones. The invention also relates to a system and a method for the pyrolysis and gasification of the solid, powder and liquid biomass using at least two modules of the invention in mutual communication.
