Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de beauté comprenant un mécanisme de production de vapeur (10) permettant d'atomiser de la vapeur produite par le chauffage d'eau par le biais d'un système de décharge (74) et permettant d'éjecter la vapeur atomisée depuis une tuyère de vapeur (1). Le système de décharge (74) présente des aiguilles de décharge (310, 320) exposées à la vapeur, et un corps d'absorption d'eau (70) disposé sur les aiguilles de décharge (310, 320) afin d'absorber l'eau à la surface des aiguilles de décharge (310, 320). Dans un tel dispositif de beauté, la formation de condensation à l'extrémité des aiguilles de décharge (310, 320) est empêchée car le corps (70) absorbe l'eau et, puisque la distribution du champ électrique n'est pas perturbée par la formation de condensation, l'efficacité de la décharge augmente et l'efficacité de l'atomisation de la vapeur est accrue.
