Abstract

A beauty device includes a steam generation mechanism (10) for atomizing steam produced by heating water through a discharger (74) and ejecting the atomized steam from a steam nozzle (1). The discharger (74) has discharge needles (310, 320) exposed to the steam, and a water absorption body (70) arranged on the discharge needles (310, 320) in order to absorb water on the surface of the discharge needles (310, 320). In such a beauty device, dew formation at the tip of the discharge needles (310, 320) is prevented because the body (70) absorbs water and since the electric field distribution is not disturbed by dew formation, discharge efficiency increases and atomization efficiency of steam is enhanced.
