Abstract

　体脂肪測定装置（１Ａ）は、電極支持部およびベルト部を含む生体インピーダンス測定用胴部装着ユニット（１００）を備える。ベルト部は、その一部に伸縮領域を有する。電極支持部は、ベルト部の一端部が固定された固定部と、ベルト部の他端部寄りの部分を移動可能に保持するとともにその巻き回し長さを調節可能な巻き回し長さ調節機構（３２）を含む保持部とを有する。体脂肪測定装置（１Ａ）は、伸縮領域が伸縮することによって生じるベルト部の変位量を検出する変位量検出部（３０）と、変位量検出部（３０）によって検出された情報に基づいて巻き回し長さ調節機構（３２）を制御する巻き回し長さ調節機構制御部（１９）とを備える。このように構成することにより、被験者に苦痛を与えることが少なく呼吸動作がスムーズに行なえ、かつ被験者のウエスト長の如何によらず再現性よく密着した状態で装着可能な生体インピーダンス測定用腹部装着ユニットを備えた体脂肪測定装置とすることができる。
