Abstract

 本発明は、耐久性を向上させたエレクトロクロミック方式の表示素子の製造方法を提供する。この表示素子の製造方法は、対向電極間に、エレクトロクロミック色素と、該エレクトロクロミック色素を担持する金属酸化物を含む多孔質層とを有する表示素子の製造方法であって、該多孔質層に、インクジェット装置により、該表示素子の1画素内における該金属酸化物を含む多孔質層への該エレクトロクロミック色素の担持量を均一化させる機能を有する複数種のインクを付与する工程を有することを特徴とする。
