Abstract

 対向電極間に容易に白色散乱層を形成することができ、生産適性が高く、かつ長期使用での安定性が高い新規な電気化学的な表示素子の製造方法を提供するにあたり、対向電極の少なくとも一方の電極上に、白色散乱物及び高分子バインダーを含有する膜を形成し、もう一方の対向電極を互いに向合うように配置し、該対向電極に挟まれた空間に低粘度電解質を注入し、該高分子バインダーを電解質で溶解又は膨潤して該空間内に該白色散乱物及び高分子バインダーを含んだゲル状電解質層を形成することを特徴とする。
