Abstract

L'invention concerne une lampe plane (1) transmettant un rayonnement dans l'ultraviolet, dit UV, comprenant des première et deuxième parois diélectriques planes (2, 3) en regard, maintenues sensiblement parallèles et scellées entre elles, délimitant un espace interne (10) rempli de gaz émetteur dudit rayonnement UV (7) et/ou susceptible d'exciter un matériau luminophore (6) émettant dudit rayonnement UV, ledit matériau luminophore étant disposé sur une face principale interne (22, 32) de la première et/ou de la deuxième paroi, la première et/ou la deuxième paroi diélectrique étant en un matériau transmettant ledit rayonnement UV, des électrodes constituées d'une première électrode (4) intégrée à la première paroi ou sur la face principale externe de la première paroi, et d'une deuxième électrode (5) sur la face principale interne de la deuxième paroi, à des potentiels distincts, la première électrode et/ou la deuxième électrode étant à base d'un matériau transmettant ledit rayonnement UV ou arrangé pour une transmission globale suffisante audit UV, les première et deuxième électrodes s'étendant sur des surfaces de dimensions au moins sensiblement égales à la surface des parois dans l'espace interne. L'invention concerne aussi ses utilisations.
