Abstract

　【課題】　発熱特性（温度の立ち上がり、あるいは、上昇温度、上昇温度継続時間）をさらに向上させた発熱体を使用した物品加熱装置を提供する。 　【解決手段】　物品加熱装置は、容器に加熱される物品とともに発熱体１を入れ、さらに反応用の水を加え、発熱体から発生した熱で物品を加熱する物品加熱装置である。発熱体１は、多数の針孔１５が開けられた包材からなる袋体１０を有し、袋体１０内に、４０～７０重量％のアルミニウム粉末、５～４０重量％の消石灰粉末、及び、５～４０重量％の生石灰粉末からなる発熱剤と、発熱剤に０．１～３０重量％添加された、ホウ酸塩粉末、硫酸塩粉末及び亜硫酸塩粉末からなる群から選択された一つ以上の粉末からなる添加物と、を含む粉末２０が封入されている。発熱剤にこのような添加物を添加すると、良好な発熱特性が得られるので、比較的高価なアルミニウム粉末の量を従来のものより減らしても発熱特性を維持又は向上できる。
