Abstract
Disclosed is a sensor chip for use in the detection of an antigen, which can detect a pathogen involved in an infectious disease even under dried conditions. The sensor chip comprises a substrate (1) and an antibody-immobilized site arranged on the substrate (1). The antibody-immobilized site comprises a metal film arranged on the substrate (1), a self-assembled film arranged on the metal film, and an antibody (4,5) provided on the self-assembled film. A water-retaining film (8) comprising a saccharide is formed on an unmodified site on which the antibody (4,5) is not immobilized.
