Abstract

　３層以上の情報層を備え、再生時のクロストークを抑制しつつ従来よりも情報層の厚さ方向の設置密度を高めることが可能である光記録媒体及びその再生方法を提供する。光記録媒体１０は、基板１２と、第１情報層１４と、第１スペーサ層１６と、第２情報層１８と、第２スペーサ層２０と、第３情報層２２と、基板１２よりも薄いカバー層２４と、を有する３層構造であり、これらの層がこの順で基板１２の上に配置され、第１情報層１４の反射率をＲ１、第２情報層１８の反射率をＲ２、第３情報層２２の反射率をＲ３として次の式(I)を満足し、 　(Ｒ２×Ｒ３×Ｒ２)／Ｒ１≦０．００３２　式(I) 第１スペーサ層１６の厚さと第２スペーサ層２０の厚さとが等しい。
