Abstract

Un dispositif de traitement de gaz d'échappement, en particulier pour un système de gaz d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne, présente une pièce d'insertion (12) parcourue par les gaz d'échappement, et un élément de compensation élastique (14) entourant la pièce d'insertion (12). Un boîtier en tôle, présentant une enveloppe (116) enroulée autour du composant, entoure l'ensemble comprenant la pièce d'insertion (12) et l'élément de compensation (14), et exerce une force de serrage sur ledit ensemble. L'enveloppe (116) est dimensionnée de façon qu'en direction périphérique, les bords de l'enveloppe (116) formant les arêtes (18, 20) prennent appui mutuellement par assemblage bout à bout.
