Abstract

 ガス化炉内で行われる原料の乾燥および熱分解の促進と、生成ガスに含まるタールの低減を図るべく、ガス化装置を、有蓋有底の縦型形状のガス化炉11に、該ガス化炉11内に原料を投入するための投入筒15を上方から挿入して構成する。そして、前記ガス化炉11の側壁部に、該ガス化炉11内にガス化材を供給するためのガス化材導入口11v・11w・11x・11y・11zを複数設け、これらのうちの少なくとも一つのガス化材導入口11vを、鉛直方向においては当該ガス化材導入口11vよりも下方で前記投入筒15の下方に設定する部分酸化層に向かって開口させるとともに、水平方向においては前記側壁部の接線方向に向かって設ける。
