Abstract

L'invention concerne un sous-ensemble destiné à être employé pour former un écran électro-optique, comportant (dans cet ordre) un substrat transmettant la lumière (120); des zones discrètes (204) de matériau électro-optique séparées par des zones de gouttière (205) essentiellement libres de matériau électro-optique; et une couche adhésive (122) et/ou une couche amovible (124) pouvant être retirée du sous-ensemble par pelage. L'invention concerne également un deuxième sous-ensemble comportant (dans cet ordre) une pellicule amovible pelable (102); des zones discrètes (204) de matériau électro-optique séparées par des zones de gouttière (205) essentiellement libres de matériau électro-optique; et une couche adhésive (206) et/ou une couche amovible pelable (208). L'invention concerne également des procédés de fabrication de ces sous-ensembles et d'utilisation de ceux-ci pour former des écrans électro-optiques.
