Abstract

The invention relates, to cancer development; more specifically, leukaemia. In particular, the invention relates to transgenic non-human animals comprising in their genome a human oncogene which can be regulated exogenously by an effector substance. The invention further relates to transgenic non-human animals comprising in their genome the BCR-ABLp 190 gene. In addition the invention relates to the use of the transgenic non-human mammals of the invention for the discovery and development of compounds for the prevention and/or treatment of cancer.
