Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de purification d'un gaz combustible contaminé par des contaminants tels que du goudron et/ou des particules de poussière, et qui comprend l'injection d'huile dans le gaz contaminé. L'huile s'évapore par contact avec le gaz contaminé. Ladite huile évaporée se condense sur une certaine quantité de contaminants de telle sorte que lesdits contaminants augmentent de taille pour former des particules de taille accrue dans le gaz. Un champ électrique est appliqué entre des électrodes et permet de charger électriquement et d'éliminer du gaz lesdites particules de plus grande taille. La condensation de l'huile a lieu à une température située au-dessus du point de rosée de l'eau présente dans le gaz contaminé. Ce point de rosée de l'eau est de préférence compris entre 50 et 100 °C et en particulier entre 50 et 80 °C.
