Abstract

A handle device for a portable storage body is provided with a handle main body (1) wherein a grasping section (11) is arranged over a pair of arm sections (10, 10), and the arm sections (10) are arranged to stand on a portable storage body (B) by turnably combining the arm sections with an outer surface section (Ba) of the portable storage body (B); an urging means (2), which positions the handle main body (1) at a lying position where the grasping section (11) is brought into contact with the outer surface section (Ba) of the portable storage body (B) by being urged; and a braking means (3), which permits a braking force to operate to turning of the handle main body (1) made by being urged toward the lying position when grasping of the handle main body (1) stood to be grasped against being urged is released.
