Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil et une méthode chirurgicale destinés à soutenir des organes du corps, et notamment à traiter une incontinence urinaire par soutien de l'urètre et du col de la vessie. Cette invention fait intervenir une structure, une sélection de matière, des outils d'introduction et des méthodes chirurgicales pour l'auto-ancrage d'écharpes urétrales permettant de soutenir l'urètre et la vessie en vue du traitement de l'incontinence urinaire féminine. Le dispositif comprend un ancrage auto-bloquant modulaire pour la fixation d'un filet chirurgical dans le tissu cible. Ledit appareil est également utile pour la réparation et la reconstruction d'organes du plancher pelvien en prolapsus.
